Indoor Air Quality Monitoring
Interactive demo model / 2018A model of a meeting room which visualizes an indoor air quality monitoring system developed by Imec.
The more ‘people’ (3D printed figures) enter this meeting room, the higher the CO2 level that is measured and the lower the comfort level for the people inside. This comfort level will be predicted with smart algorithms and this in turn will activate a fan in the room. The wall changes its light colour corresponding to the CO2 levels in the room.
Based on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, infrared sensors, LED
In collaboration with Adriaan de Man
Commissioned by Baltan Laboratories for IMEC
On show at ITF Belgium 2018.
